CalArts is pleased to present Work from Home, the 2024 CalArts postgrad show. On view from Feb. 22–March 22, 2025, the exhibition brings together the work of 24 CalArts graduates from 2024 in the MFA programs in Art, Art & Technology, and Photography and Media. The exhibition includes painting, sculpture, installation, video, and other media. Additionally, performances will be held during the run of the exhibition in addition to a curatorial walkthrough.
This year’s post-graduate exhibition is curated by LA-based, independent curator Andrew McNeely, who conducted studio visits with artists in the fall of 2024. This is the first CalArts postgrad show taking place in CalArts’s satellite location at The Reef building in Downtown Los Angeles. The exhibition is intended to provide context and visibility for recent graduates, as well as an opportunity to connect with alumnx of CalArts and to share their work with the larger Los Angeles art community. Previous iterations of the exhibition have been organized by Malik Gaines, Meghan Gordon, Sarah Lehrer-Graiwer, Audrey Min, Catherine Taft, and Aurora Tang, among other notable curators.Â
